Black Squirrel Books keeps getting prettier. Tree is at it the 2nd and 4th Tuesday, as most of you probably know. Here are photos of this season at Tree. If you'd like to lend a hand behind the scenes, let me know.
In other news, let me know if you're interested in haiku or tanka and I can hook you up. The KaDo group meets 4x a year. Next February the short poem workshop with Studio Nouveau rides again.
June 24th is coming up soon and the Ottawa small press fair returns with spring (Presumably it will stop snowing by then). I'll have new titles from Roland Packer (Wayfarers) of haiku and related poems and gendai in Cough of a Sloth from Claudia Radmore. If you can't wait, those will be on sale in Mississauga at the Haiku Canada conference, May 19-21. I'll be reading in Toronto May 18th at KnifeFork Books, the poetry-only bookstore/café in Kensington Market. May 30th I'll be happy to also read in Ottawa as opener, with Sandra Ridley, Stephen Brockwell, Marilyn Irwin, and rob mclennan, for Michael Dennis' Bad Engine: Selected Poems at Avant-Garde Bar on Besserer.
